Arvind Mungur
PhD / International Life Coach / UK

“Empowering professionals worldwide to overcome dissatisfaction and find deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.”

Guiding people in over 25 countries for over 25 years.

In 2023, I spent seven months living and working in Jerusalem—an experience that profoundly shaped my perspective.

It heightened my awareness of privilege, opportunity, and the areas of my own life that needed change. When I returned to London, I felt a deep urge to realign my career and life with my strengths and passions.

I realized that what I’ve always loved most is meeting people from around the world and helping them feel more empowered and fulfilled.

In early 2024, I made the decision to train as a professional life coach—an incredibly liberating journey that, at 55, has opened new doors of opportunity and excitement. Now, I help others tap into that same energy, growth, and transformation.

For a quarter century, I’ve served as a diplomat, navigating some of the world’s most complex political and economic environments.

My experiences, knowledge, and global connections have been invaluable, and as I transition into coaching, I remain committed to learning, growing, and supporting others on their journeys.

Career and Life Highlights:

  • Supporting embassy colleagues through security crises in Khartoum (2008) and Kabul (2011) to safeguard their welfare and resilience.
  • Delivering a communiqué on protecting women and girls in humanitarian emergencies (2013), endorsed by UK and US leaders, the UN, and 10 other nations.
  • Leading the UK government’s crisis information team in Cairo (2015) to coordinate the evacuation of 16,000 British tourists stranded in Sharm-el-Sheikh.
  • Coordinating the UN’s COVID-19 response in Bangkok (2020) to ensure clear communication for 2,800 staff and their families.
  • Successfully advocating for the UK to invest £500 million in a global COVID-19 vaccine equity programme (COVAX) which averted 6.5 million lives in 92 lower-income countries by late 2021 (source: GAVI The Vaccine Alliance).
  • Helping my family transition our 50-year-old business post-pandemic while honoring its legacy.
  • Navigating deeply personal growth, including challenging myself and strengthening my resilience when living in some of the most challenging contexts in the world.

The Road Ahead

  • Completing my Life Coaching Diploma (AC & ICF endorsed) by mid-2025.
  • Pursuing ACC or PCC certification in 2026.
  • Continuing to combine my global experience, coaching training, and passion for helping others create meaningful change.
  • Exploring my creative side (including becoming a writer and painter).

My journey has been one of continuous transformation—personally and professionally. Now, I’m dedicated to helping others find their own path to fulfillment, resilience, and purpose.
